Ye Olde Amnesia Cliche

We know anything to do with amnesia is practically a total cliche. So here's the challenge...Think of a new angle. You can write an actual short scene or story OR just state how you could use the amnesia angle in a way it's NEVER been done before. This may be a very tough challenge.
